Here I can update members with any special news and club happenings |
| Plans for the future |
|
The plan is to
learn about the didgeridoo and Aboriginal culture, whilst learning how to
decorate and play one amongst like minded students in a friendly after
school club on Tuesdays. It will take place in Art straight after school at 3 o'clock and finish at about 4 o'clock so if you get a lift home, make sure your parents know all about it first. |
|
You don't need a
didgeridoo to come along as we will be making them from PVC piping and decorating them ourselves. What will it cost? ............Nothing. ...............now that's a bargain |
|
The first club
night (after a couple of attempts this term) will be after Easter on 19th April With permission, we can put photos of our members having a go at playing their very own didgeridoos and sound clips of all those lovely calls and rhythms that will abound during the club |
| That's it, so see you all on 19th April in Art |
|
Ps if You've
already got a didgeridoo that uncle Jim brought back from Australia or you
bought it at a car boot sale, please
bring it along. There are limited places so if you haven't got your name on the list I'm afraid you'll have to wait till the next class starts, so don't be too disappointed this time anyone interested will get a go :-) Happy tooting................Dave |
